Sleep Medicine Network is a sleep medicine resource for the Dental Sleep Medicine Specialist. Our mission is to promote the use and research of oral appliances for the treatment of snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
We provide training and resources for Dentists who work directly with patients. Sleep Medicine Network collaborates with colleagues to learn about oral appliances and the role they play in the diagnosis and treatment of snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
We build bridges and form relationships with the medical community, especially in sleep centers, with the sleep specialist, Primary Care Provider and other professionals who play an integral part of the sleep disorders treatment mission. Sleep Medicine Network educates practitioner dentists through clinical conferences, specialized training and office management.
We have established appropriate treatment protocols that are effective and standardized. These protocols result in predictable outcomes and treatment pathways. It is our passion to develop the role of the dentist in recognition and treatment of sleep breathing disorders.
